The administrator of the Red Seal Program, the Canadian Council of Directors of Apprenticeship (CCDA), is pleased to announce the official recognition of the “RSE” acronym (Red Seal Endorsement) for qualified skilled journey persons! Members of prestigious professions and accredited groups are often identified by the use of an official acronym that confirms their certification and/or accreditation.

The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC), in cooperation with Saskatchewan Polytechnic, now offers Carpenter apprenticeship technical training programs that combine online theory learning with in-class practical training.

Please join us for the 2015 Skills Canada National Competition (SCNC) on May 27-30, at Prairieland Park, in Saskatoon. SCNC is a national, multi-trade and technology competition for students and apprentices.

Skills Canada is holding the national competition in Saskatoon from May 27th to 29th. This event highlights the exceptional talent of skilled trades people. In addition to the competitions themselves, there will be many try-a-trade booths and exhibits to provide the opportunity for all visitors to see what the trades are all about.

As of July 1, 2015, the SATCC will no longer be taking cash from clients in any office outside of Regina. Field Consultants will no longer be accepting payments when at the institutes.
