Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship
The Saskatchewan Youth Apprenticeship (SYA) program gives high school students the opportunity to learn more about skilled trades careers and get a head start on apprenticeship should they register as one after graduation. SYA consists of 12 challenges that high school students complete to prepare them for apprenticeship following graduation.
Why SYA?
- Get a head start on career planning
- Complete the program and register as an apprentice in Saskatchewan within five years to get:
- a waived registration fee
- no charge for Level 1 technical training
- 300 hours of trade-time credit
