The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) is calling for nominations for an Outstanding Employer and Outstanding Instructor Award.
We ask that you consider nominating a deserving employer or instructor for these awards. Nominations extended to September 17th, 2015.
There will be two Outstanding Employer Awards – one for organizations with more than 50 employees; one for organizations with fewer than 50 employees. The nomination will show that the employer demonstrated a strong support of apprenticeship training; worked to increase the probability of an apprentice’s success in the trade; and created an environment of excellence. Nominations must be submitted by an individual, not an organization. The nominator may be an employee of the organization nominated.
There will be one Outstanding Instructor Award. The nomination will determine that the instructor went above and beyond the requirements; had excellent presentation skills; was fair, approachable, and firm.
The winners will be notified by September 30, 2015, and will be invited to the Apprenticeship Awards Ceremony, held on Friday, October 23, 2015 at the Conexus Arts Centre in Regina. The awards also celebrate the achievements of newly certified journeypersons and recognize the role played by employers, supervising journeypersons, training deliverers and trade boards to support the apprenticeship system.
