Newly elected to the Commission Board of Directors as an Employee representative in the Uranium Mining sector in 2024. I have obtained my Electrical Journeyperson Red Seal certificate with Cameco Corporation at McArthur River, where I have been employed for 26 years. With a strong commitment to endorsing the trades in our province, I’m honoured to be a part of the process.
Currently a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for Instrumentation, Plumbing & Carpentry and moving to General Supervisor for Site Services.
Throughout my 26 years I have also held my Hoisting Operator Certificate, participate in our Inclusion Diversity Committee been a part of the Occupation Health Committee. My time at McArthur has allowed me to gain knowledge and understanding of the Mining Process and the requirements needed to obtain our goals.
