The Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission (SATCC) has shared the results of its 2025 Apprentice and Employer Satisfaction Surveys.

The biennial surveys, which are sent to employers and apprentices registered in Saskatchewan, gather feedback on the apprenticeship system, training and services provided by the SATCC.

There is near-unanimous agreement among apprentices and employers that SATCC staff are friendly and courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. Ninety-eight per cent of employers agree staff are friendly and courteous, and 95 per cent of apprentices agree. Ninety-five per cent of employers agree staff are knowledgeable, and 92 per cent of apprentices agree. Ninety-four per cent of employers agree staff are helpful, and 92 per cent of apprentices agree.

There is also high satisfaction among apprentices and employers with MyATC, the SATCC’s online client service system. Employers reported a 94 per cent satisfaction rate with MyATC services and apprentices reported a 92 per cent satisfaction rate.

Most apprentices and employers report satisfaction with the current training registration process and schedule as well. Eighty-four per cent of respondents are satisfied with the first-come, first-served enrollment system, while 83 per cent are satisfied with the May enrollment process at 8 a.m.
