The 2025-26 Technical Training Schedule will be released on Tuesday, April 22, 2025 on the Technical Training Information page. The 2025-26 training year runs July 1, 2025 until June 30, 2026.

Training Registration Dates in MyATC:

• Tuesday, April 29 at 8 a.m.: Powerline Technician (PLT) all levels;
• Tuesday, May 27 at 8 a.m.: Level 4 and Level 3 classes released, all other trades;
• Wednesday, May 28 at 8 a.m.: Level 2 classes released, all other trades; and
• Thursday, May 29 at 8 a.m.: Level 1 classes released, all other trades .

PLT apprentices can self-register for technical training in MyATC for the 2025-26 training year, starting Tuesday, April 29, 2025. Registration is opening in PLT early because some of this trade’s courses start in July.

Apprentices are responsible for registering for any technical training they are eligible for. Technical training is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Once classes are opened for registration in MyATC, they remain open until they are either filled or cancelled due to lack of demand.

It is the responsibility of apprentices and employers/Joint Training Committees to work together to determine mutually agreeable training times. When apprentices register for technical training, employers/Joint Training Committees receive a notification via MyATC and can view the training apprentices have registered for.
