Drew Tiefenbach joined the Saskatchewan Apprenticeship and Trade Certification Commission’s (SATCC) Board of Directors in 2014 as an employer representative in the construction sector. Drew is the Manager of the Special Projects Division and a corporate shareholder at Alliance Energy. He is also a Gold Seal Project Manager and a Co-chair of the Alliance Energy Corporate Safety Committee. Drew became a Red Seal certified journeyperson in the electrical trade in 1985, achieved a Business Administration certificate from the University of Regina in 1985, a Professional Director designation from Governance Solutions in 2017 and a Blue Seal in 2018. Starting as an employee representative on the Construction Electrician Trade Board in 2000, he then served on the Curriculum and Examination Development Board. Drew was elected as Chair of the Commission Board of Directors in October 2016 and continues to chair the board. Drew is currently the representative for Saskatchewan Polytechnic on the SATCC Board and is also a director on the Sask Polytech Board.
